LOOKING THE WORLD FROM A BROKEN LENS

So on 7th August 2022, I broke my phone’s camera, being a college student, I could not afford to buy a DSLR to capture photos sadge, so my phone was my only way to click pictures. With a broken lens on my phone, I never could have imagined it would teach me a life lesson. I did not repair my phone but tried to view the world from a different perspective or I can also say from a broken perspective. I tried to explore Delhi along the way, and I must say Delhi is not as bad as it is portrayed.

And these pictures weren’t the perfect pictures but still, I wanted to explain my world’s beauty from a different perspective.

So here are some of the pictures I clicked from a broken lens and the story behind them:

1) Nicobarian Effect

Imagine in the monsoon, you are standing at one of the most happening places in Delhi and then you see the graffiti on the streets and the colour combination it portrays. When I saw this wall, I was in utter disbelief at the creativity of Delhites.

2) Street Food

Imagine being in Delhi and not trying street food, I literally have no words to tell about the street food of Delhi.

3) Modern Times in Traditional Ways.

You can have Zara, Starbucks, Big fashion brands etc. in Delhi but the touch of the traditionality Delhi (or India in general) has to offer always remain there.

4) Partition Times

Originally established in 1931 in Peshawar and in Delhi since 1951, From Amrita Imroz to Gulzar Lyrics, this place is one of the most valuable treasures Delhi has to offer. Will definitely take a full day off just to explore this place again.

5) Perfection

Heavy rainfall, the autumn fall of trees, and a broken lens.

6) The Blush after a fall

The Red line of Delhi Metro might be the busiest but sometimes it becomes the prettiest too.

7) Auto Struggles

On my way to campus.

8) Campus Fiasco

The entrance of the beginning of my career.

9) Path to Silence

On my way to the library of our campus.

10) ) Late Night Café’s
